Case Manager/Legal Assistant

Personal injury law firm seeks assistant to oversee personal injury cases in pre-litigation AND litigation.

Duties to include but are not limited to:

-drafting personal injury client demand packets

-requesting medical records

-organizing and overseeing client files

-investigating claims

-corresponding with clients and carriers

-drafting petitions, discovery and motions

-screening possible new personal injury cases

Some litigation experience required; Spanish bilingual a plus. Starting rate $15.00-29.00 per hour plus discretionary bonus OR negotiable depending on legal experience. Available 4-6 days per week; 30-45 hours a week. Law firm is small and growing and anticipates that responsibilities and pay will increase.

Will consider a 1-6 month working interview and assessment with the right candidate. Looking for a self-sufficient hard worker looking to grow with the office. Free parking.
