Cashier

Job Summary:

As a Cashier at Royal Saray Resort, you will be responsible for managing all payment transactions accurately and efficiently in the resort’s restaurants and nightlife venues. You will provide outstanding guest service while handling billing, ensuring correct revenue reporting, and maintaining compliance with resort policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests courteously and professionally at the point of sale.
• Process guest checks, payments (cash, credit card, room charge), and issue receipts accurately.
• Handle cash drawer responsibly and perform daily cash counts and reconciliations.
• Ensure all transactions are recorded in the POS system correctly and in real time.
• Collaborate with servers and bartenders to ensure timely and accurate billing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of cashier stations.
• Follow all accounting and cash handling policies and procedures.
• Address guest inquiries or resolve billing concerns promptly and professionally.
• Prepare daily sales and transaction reports for the outlet manager.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, licensing laws, and resort policies.
• Support the team during busy periods with basic hosting or seating duties if required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; diploma in hospitality or accounting preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of cashiering experience in a high-volume restaurant, bar, or nightclub.
• Strong numerical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in POS systems (e.g., MICROS, Oracle, or similar).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
