Job Description: Cashier

As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions accurately, providing excellent service, and ensuring smooth payment operations in the restaurant/hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a polite and professional manner.
• Handle cash, credit/debit card, and other payment transactions accurately.
• Issue receipts, refunds, or change as required.
• Maintain the cash register, balance daily transactions, and prepare reports.
• Assist customers with inquiries related to billing and payments.
• Ensure accuracy in processing discounts, vouchers, and promotions.
• Keep the cashier area neat, organized, and secure.
• Work closely with the service team to support smooth operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience as a cashier in a restaurant, hotel, or retail environment (required).
• Strong numerical and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
