Cashier

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Cashier to manage daily cash operations at our AFS branch shop,we are looking for someone who can handle customer transactions accurately, and support sales and logistics processes. The ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and experience in handling multiple forms of payments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each day, ensuring all transactions are accurate.
• Prepare and make bank deposits as instructed by the Reporting Manager.
• Handle various forms of payments, including cash, wire transfers, and cheques, with precision.
• Maintain detailed records of daily cash transactions for auditing and compliance purposes.
• Prepare invoices and packing lists for the sales team, ensuring accurate documentation of product details, quantities, pricing, and shipping information.
• Collect and exchange foreign currency from customers, verifying authenticity of notes and applying accurate market rates.
• Assist in coordinating the transfer of goods from the warehouse to the store, documenting item details and quantities.
• Ensure smooth and efficient order processing by verifying customer information, calculating totals, and applying applicable taxes.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Cashier or in a similar financial or retail role.
• Strong numerical and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of handling multiple payment methods, including foreign currency.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in all transactions.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Basic knowledge of invoicing, packing lists, and order processing is an advantage.
