· Count money in cash drawer at the beginning of the shift to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change, and inform Head Cashier Office (HCO)/Finance Department immediately in case any variance found.
· Match the day opening physical cash balance with the previous day’s closing records and open statement posting at the beginning of each day.
· Responsible for shop’s float cash fund, cash handling and cash deposit in the bank.
· Responsible for Credit Card Entry & Transactions
· Responsible for Issuing & tracking Manual Tax Invoice and Settling it through entering details in POS system
· Responsible for Void Transactions and usage of Terminal machine
· Responsible for Cashier Log In/Out , sales amount being hand over
· Responsible to know the Invoice Entry & Issuance policies.
· Compute and record totals of transactions, calculate total cash received during the day, and reconcile this with total sales.
· Perform day-end procedures such as sort, count, and wrap currency, record cash denominations, tender declarations, collecting receipts, cash deposits, closing emails, etc.
· Ensure a safe & proper transition of cash to Shop Manager/in-charge when not available or temporarily away from shop for a break.
· Should have sufficient knowledge about the Navision System and its procedures.
· Carry on inventory movement process and maintain proper transfer-in/transfer-out transaction.
· Greet customers to the shop and provide the highest standards of customer service.
· Obtain and update his/her knowledge from time to time about products, prices, Refunds & exchange policies, currency, and exchange rate, answer customers' questions, and provide information on procedures or policies.
· Assist the shop manager to prepare periodical reports & documents and submit to Area Manager/ Sale Department / Head Office when requested.
· Responsible for answering calls, monitoring emails, informing the showroom manager/in-charge about the received emails, preparing emails as per the shop manager instruction and informing the shop manager/in-charge to reply to emails in case he/she is not available to do so.
· Perform other tasks that might be assigned from time to time.
