Role Purpose:

The Cashier is responsible for handling all cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining proper records and ensuring compliance with company policies. The role includes managing daily cash flow, preparing payment and receipt vouchers, and reconciling cash balances at the end of each day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle daily cash transactions including receipts, payments, and deposits.
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and update cash registers.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash reports.
  • Manage petty cash and ensure all vouchers are properly approved and documented.
  • Reconcile cash balances with accounts and report discrepancies immediately.
  • Support finance or accounting teams with bank deposits and cash flow updates.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all financial and company information.
  • Provide customer service support when handling payments or reimbursements.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in a similar role (preferably in a trading, retail, or industrial environment).
  • Good command of English and Arabic.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and ERP or POS systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.

  • Excellent numerical and record-keeping skills.
  • Trustworthy and reliable.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ﷼1,800.00 - ﷼2,000.00 per month
