Cashier - Retail Store (Medina, Saudi Arabia)

Our retail store in Medina is seeking a customer service-oriented Cashier with excellent communication skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a fast-paced retail environment and be able to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly and efficient service at the checkout counter
• Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Answer customer inquiries regarding products, promotions, and policies
• Ensure all merchandise is properly labeled and priced
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting any discrepancies
• Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, returns/exchanges, and customer service
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training is a plus
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Cashier in a retail setting
• Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
• Strong numeracy skills for accurate cash handling and transactions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Customer service-oriented with the ability to resolve issues in a professional manner
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
