Cashier

Job Purpose

Handles internal transactions related to collections, reimbursements, and advances ensuring that all transactions are properly documented, recorded, and accounted for. Updates all transactions in the Finance system and adheres to all company policies and procedures.

• Manage the float cash for buy on board sales. Including making the pouches, receiving and reconciling the cash with the sales.
• Prepare cash deposits for the organization's accounts, ensuring that all deposits are accurately recorded and balanced. Reconcile the cash drawers and sales receipts daily.
• Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift, and ensure that all collections, reimbursements, and advances have been properly recorded and accounted for.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail and ensure that all transactions comply with the organization's policies and procedures, as well as any relevant laws or regulations.
• Document all transactions and keep accurate records of all cash and check deposits, withdrawals, and other transactions.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries or concerns from customers or other stakeholders.
• Responsible to ensure that any cash taken in throughout the day is kept safe and secure and all protocols are followed. Maintain adequate change in denominations in the cash drawer and request additional change well in advance.
  
  

Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages)

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field.
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and database systems.
• Fluent in English and Arabic Languages verbal and written
  
  

Work Experience

• 1-2 Years of experience as a Cashier or Accountant Payable.
• Experience in Airlines is an advantage.
• Flexibility to work in rotational shifts.
