Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to manage daily cash transactions related to building material transportation services. The Cashier will be responsible for receiving payments, issuing receipts, maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and process cash, card, and digital payments from customers
• Issue invoices, receipts, and delivery payment confirmations
• Record daily transactions accurately in cash books or accounting systems
• Verify transport charges, material delivery fees, and payment amounts
• Balance cash drawers and prepare daily cash reports
• Coordinate with drivers, dispatch staff, and accounts personnel regarding payments
• Handle customer inquiries related to billing and payments professionally
• Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, and vouchers
• Assist with basic accounting and office administrative tasks as needed
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures

Requirements & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Accounting or Finance background is a plus)
• Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role preferred
• Basic knowledge of computer, accounting principles and cash handling
• Ability to use calculators and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Honest, dependable, and able to work under pressure
