Job Title: Cashier

Department: Finance / Administration

Location: Autorun – Dubai

Job Purpose

To manage daily cash and non-cash transactions efficiently and accurately, ensuring smooth payment collection from customers for vehicle sales, service, spare parts, and accessories, while upholding company policies and providing a high standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all cash, card, and online transactions from customers for showroom, service centre, and parts sales.
• Issue receipts, invoices, and credit/debit notes in compliance with company and UAE VAT regulations.
• Reconcile daily cash collections and prepare deposit slips for bank submission.
• Maintain accurate transaction records and support audit requirements.
• Verify customer payments against invoices and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
• Coordinate with the Accounts Department for end-of-day reconciliation and reporting.
• Monitor the cash float, ensuring adequate change is available throughout the day.
• Ensure security and confidentiality of financial transactions and company assets.
• Provide courteous and professional service to all walk-in and service customers.
• Escalate payment or system issues to the Finance Manager as required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma in Accounting/Finance or equivalent qualification.
• 2–3 years’ experience as a cashier, preferably in the automotive or retail sector.
• Familiarity with dealership management systems (e.g., Autoline, SAP, or similar).
• Strong numerical and reconciliation skills.
• Basic knowledge of VAT and financial regulations in UAE.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity.
