Job Summary
Amity International School is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Cashier to manage school fee transactions while providing excellent front desk support. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial handling, maintain organized records, and deliver a welcoming experience to parents, students, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive tuition and fee payments, issue receipts, and record transactions accurately on a daily basis.
- Prepare daily collection summaries and coordinate bank deposits.
- Manage petty cash disbursements and perform regular reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate records of fee concessions and other income-related documentation.
- Monitor outstanding fees and report delays or non-payments to management.
- Provide professional front desk assistance and welcome visitors courteously.
- Support the Accounts team with routine financial and administrative tasks.
- Ensure compliance with school policies, procedures, and financial controls.
- Coordinate with the Registrar to maintain updated student fee records.
- Attend meetings and carry out additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Completion of secondary education (Accounting qualification preferred).
- Previous experience in cashiering, finance, or accounting support roles.
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good computer skills, including data entry and reporting.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Professional attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a school or educational environment.
- Familiarity with accounting or ERP systems.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
