Job Title: Gas Station Cashier

Role Overview The Cashier is the face of our station. You aren’t just ringing up snacks; you are ensuring our customers get back on the road safely and quickly. This role involves managing the point-of-sale (POS) system, maintaining a clean and stocked storefront, and providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Transactions: Process cash, credit, and debit card payments accurately. Handle lottery tickets, tobacco sales, and fuel prepayments. Customer Service: Greet every customer and assist with questions about products, fuel pumps, or local directions. Store Maintenance: Keep the "impulse buy" aisles stocked, organize the cooler, and ensure the coffee station is clean and filled. Safety & Compliance: Monitor fuel pumps for safety, verify IDs for age-restricted items (alcohol/tobacco), and maintain a clean forecourt. Shift Duties: Perform basic housekeeping (sweeping, mopping, emptying trash) and complete shift-end reconciliation reports. Qualifications & Skills Reliability: You are the person the team counts on to open or close the store. Math Skills: Ability to handle cash quickly and accurately. Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 10 lbs (e.g., cases of water or soda). Communication: Clear, friendly verbal communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
