Cashier

Under the supervision of the Collections Supervisor, the Cashier receives direct payments from consumers, verifies amounts, issues receipt, and responds to inquiries and comments.

What you’ll do:

• Greets consumers politely
• Receives payments in the form of cash, check, card via computer system and portal swiping system.
• Verifies amount received against current record of amount due and owing
• Completes and issues receipt in amount received
• Count and balance cash drawer at the end of the day
• Responds to consumer questions or comments
• All other duties as needed.

What you bring:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Cashiering experience preferred
• Prior cash handling experience and the ability to keep accurate transactional data and records
• Bilingual (Spanish/English), preferred.
