Job Summary

The cashier is responsible for handling customer transactions efficiently and accurately while delivering excellent customer service. The role ensures smooth order processing, proper cash handling, and maintaining a clean and organized counter area.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Take orders clearly and accurately
  • Answer questions about menu items and make recommendations
  • Handle customer complaints politely and escalate when needed

Transaction Handling

  • Process payments (cash, card, online orders)
  • Issue receipts and ensure correct billing
  • Manage POS system efficiently
  • Handle refunds and exchanges according to company policy

Order Coordination

  • Communicate orders clearly with baristas/kitchen team
  • Ensure correct order delivery to customers
  • Monitor order flow (dine-in, takeaway, delivery platforms like Talabat/Snoonu)

Cash Management

  • Maintain accurate cash drawer at all times
  • Perform opening and closing cash counts
  • Report any discrepancies immediately

Cleanliness & Organization

  • Keep cashier area clean and organized
  • Ensure menus, displays, and POS area are presentable
  • Follow hygiene and safety standards

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service preferred
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Working Conditions

  • Standing for long periods

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR4,000.00 per month
