The Senior Barista is responsible for delivering exceptional coffee and customer experiences while supporting the daily operations of the caf&eacute;. This role serves as a mentor and lead to junior baristas, ensuring consistency in beverage quality, service standards, and operational efficiency. The Senior Barista also assists with training, inventory management, and shift supervision.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based and specialty beverages according to established recipes and presentation standards.</li><li>Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining a welcoming caf&eacute; environment.</li><li>Train, guide, and support baristas in coffee preparation, customer service, and operational procedures.</li><li>Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.</li><li>Assist in monitoring stock levels and ordering coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies as needed.</li><li>Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment; perform basic troubleshooting and cleaning.</li><li>Oversee shift operations when the manager is unavailable &mdash; including cash handling, opening, and closing duties.</li><li>Monitor beverage quality and consistency, adjusting grind settings or recipes when necessary.</li><li>Contribute to menu development and recommend new beverages or improvements based on customer feedback.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of sales, wastage, and stock usage.</li><li>Promote brand values and uphold company standards at all times.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills:<ul><li>Minimum 2&ndash;3 years of experience as a barista in a busy caf&eacute; or specialty coffee environment.</li><li>Deep knowledge of coffee origins, roasting profiles, brewing methods, and latte art.</li><li>Strong leadership and mentoring skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.</li><li>Ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently under pressure.</li><li>Basic inventory management and POS operation skills.</li><li>Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.</li><li>Passionate about coffee culture and continuous learning.</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>Barista certification (e.g., SCA, Barista Guild, or equivalent) preferred.</li></ul>Physical Requirements:<ul><li>Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours).</li><li>Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform repetitive motions.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: QAR4,500.00 per month
