Duties

• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges with speed and precision
• Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product demos when needed
• Upsell relevant products and promote ongoing promotions to maximize sales opportunities
• Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, ensuring proper stocking of register supplies and merchandising displays
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods securely while adhering to cash handling procedures
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone etiquette and in person with professionalism

Requirements

• Prior experience with POS systems, cashiering, or retail sales is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
• Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills in retail or grocery store environments is advantageous
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and patience under pressure
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
