Duties

• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges.
• Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product information or demos when needed.
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods with precision and integrity.
• Maintain an organized checkout area by stocking supplies, merchandising products, and ensuring cleanliness.
• Upsell relevant products or promotions to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries professionally via phone or in person while practicing proper phone etiquette.
• Support inventory management through stocking shelves, conducting product demos, and assisting with stock replenishment.

Requirements

• Previous experience with POS systems and cash handling is preferred.
• Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills are a plus for those interested in growth opportunities.
• Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively.
• Strong communication skills with a friendly attitude and excellent phone etiquette.
• Basic math skills necessary for retail math calculations, cash handling, and transaction accuracy.
• Experience working in a grocery store or retail sales environment is advantageous.
