Head Cashier – Accounts

The Head Cashier – Accounts is responsible for overseeing all cash handling operations, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions, maintaining proper records, and supervising cashier staff. The role requires strong attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to manage daily cash flow efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage daily cash transactions, including receipts and payments
  • Maintain accurate cash records and ensure proper documentation of all financial activities
  • Monitor cash balances and ensure timely deposits in bank accounts
  • Reconcile daily cash collections with system records and resolve discrepancies
  • Oversee and guide cashier staff to ensure smooth operations
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash reports for management
  • Coordinate with the accounts team for financial closing and audits
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures
  • Handle petty cash management and expense tracking
  • Assist in internal and external audits by providing required data

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Proven experience in cashiering or accounts (2–4 years preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and cash management
  • Proficiency in ERP systems or accounting software (e.g., Hisab.pk, QuickBooks, etc.)
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail
