Cashier

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate POS systems to process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Calculate the cost of products and services
• Accept various payment methods including cash, card, and digital payments
• Provide correct change when required
• Maintain sufficient change in the cash drawer and request additional funds when needed
• Reconcile cash drawers with sales receipts at the end of shifts
• Handle layaways, returns, and exchanges in accordance with company policies
• Report any POS or equipment issues promptly
• Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and presentable
• Scan and bag items carefully and efficiently
• Stay updated on current promotions, advertisements, and product information

Requirements:

• Proven experience working with POS systems
• Strong numerical and cash-handling skills
• Good communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Must be currently available in the UAE
• Immediate joiners preferred
• Willing to work in Dubai
