Duties

• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and offering product recommendations.
• Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments with precision while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
• Maintain store merchandising standards by restockikg, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented.
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering the phone to inquiries or assisting customers.

Experience

• Prior cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math is advantageous for accurate transactions.
• Supervising experience is a plus, especially if it involved overseeing team members or managing customer service operations.
• Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously are essential for success in this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.15 - $17.00 per hour
