Job Summary

Star Gallery Mart is looking for an experienced and reliable Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate must have previous UAE cashier experience, be fluent in both Arabic and English, and possess strong cash-handling and customer service skills.

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of cashier experience in the UAE.
• Fluent in Arabic and English (Speaking is Mandatory).
• Strong cash-handling skills and ability to count money accurately and efficiently.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle busy customer transactions.
• Honest, trustworthy, and detail-oriented.
• Willing to relocate to any Star Gallery Mart branch within the UAE if required.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive cash, card, Tabby, Tamara, and other payment transactions accurately.
• Count cash received and maintain proper cash balances throughout the day.
• Issue receipts, refunds, and exchange transactions according to company policy.
• Reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Assist customers professionally and resolve basic payment-related inquiries.
• Coordinate with the accounts department regarding cash deposits and discrepancies.
• Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately in the POS system.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier counter.
• Follow company procedures and financial controls at all times.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using POS systems.
• Experience handling merchant payments and payment terminals.
• Experience in electronics retail stores is an advantage.

Important: Candidates who are not fluent in both Arabic and English will not be considered.

Pay: From AED2,000.00 per month
