Cashier

Key Responsibilities

• Process Transactions: Scan items, input product codes, and accurately process cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments.
• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and handle product returns or exchanges efficiently.
• Cash Handling: Count and balance the cash drawer at the start and end of shifts to ensure funds match transaction records.
• Maintain the Store: Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Promotions: Apply coupons or discount codes and cross-sell or upsell products when appropriate.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Basic Math Skills: Ability to calculate totals, subtract discounts, and make correct change.
• Communication & Interpersonal Skills: A friendly, helpful demeanor with the ability to resolve customer complaints politely.
• Attention to Detail: High accuracy in managing transactions and identifying pricing discrepancies.
• Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with modern Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, barcode scanners, and card readers.

Pay: AED1,367.13 - AED3,500.00 per month
