Duties

• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process retail sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
• Handle cash register operations with precision, including cash handling and cash drawer management
• Deliver excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and providing product information
• Assist customers with product demos and upselling opportunities to enhance their shopping experience
• Stock shelves and organize merchandise to maintain an attractive store environment
• Maintain proper phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
• Support merchandising efforts by organizing displays and ensuring products are well-presented
• Conduct basic math calculations quickly and accurately for transactions and inventory counts

Skills

• Proven experience with POS systems and cash register operations in a retail or grocery store setting
• Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities in bilingual environments preferred
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings
• Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions, inventory, and sales reporting
• Knowledge of retail store product details, merchandising techniques, and stock management
• Ability to handle cash drawer handling responsibly and perform cash handling tasks efficiently
• Familiarity with grocery store operations or retail sales transactions is advantageous
• Excellent phone etiquette and professional communication skills for customer interactions
• Experience in upselling products to maximize sales opportunities
