Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders in a fast-paced setting
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately
• Prepare a variety of coffee drinks with precision, ensuring quality and consistency
• Assemble sandwiches and food items following safety and food handling standards
• Manage cash register operations, including cash handling, making change, and balancing registers at shift end
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations and seating areas
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, taking special requests, and ensuring satisfaction

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or coffee-making skills are highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
• Knowledge of food safety procedures and proper food handling techniques
• Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math accuracy
• Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks involved in food preparation
• Experience in the food industry or retail environment is advantageous
