Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and process transactions efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Prepare food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring freshness and presentation.
• Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with accuracy and integrity.
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in food prep areas, dining spaces, and cashier stations in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Assist with food service tasks such as bussing tables, stocking supplies, and supporting kitchen operations during busy periods.
• Manage time effectively to ensure quick service delivery in a fast food or quick service restaurant setting while maintaining high-quality standards.

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, food handling, or working in a restaurant or café environment.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transactions.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously during peak hours.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations.
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
