Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cashier / Customer Service Associate / Stocker to join our team in a fast-paced grocery store environment. This multifaceted role involves providing exceptional customer service, handling transactions efficiently, and ensuring that products are well-stocked and displayed. Responsibilities

• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, product information, and resolving any issues.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer shopping experience and increase sales.
• Perform merchandising duties, including product displays, signage, and promotional setups to attract customers.
• Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels to ensure product availability.
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers on new items or promotions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and store environment.
• Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work atmosphere.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with cashiering duties, including cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities within a retail setting.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as communication with diverse customers is essential.
• Knowledge of retail math concepts is beneficial for inventory management and sales tracking.
