Cashier / Customer Service (Pho Restaurant – Fast-Paced Environment)

Job Overview
We are hiring a reliable and energetic Cashier/Customer Service team member for a busy Vietnamese pho restaurant. This is a semi self-service concept where customers order at the counter, and our team delivers food to tables and clears them after dining.

We are a high-volume store, especially during lunch rush, so we are looking for someone who can handle a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Take customer orders accurately at the counter using POS system
• Provide friendly, professional customer service at all times
• Deliver food to tables and assist with dining area maintenance
• Bus and clean tables efficiently after customers leave
• Communicate clearly with kitchen and team members
• Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area

Work Environment

• Fast-paced with heavy lunch rush
• Team-oriented and customer-focused
• Semi self-service (customers handle water, fountain drinks, utensils)

Requirements

• Previous waitress/server experience strongly preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Must be fluent in English (clear and professional communication required)
• Vietnamese language is a strong plus
• Ability to stay organized and efficient under pressure
• Must be able to work Sundays (required)

Compensation

• $6.50/hour + tips
• Tips typically average $11–$13 per hour
• (higher than typical cashier positions due to service involvement)
