Cashier (Female Only) for Ras al Khaimah

Job Summary

Store cashiers handle many tasks within retail environment. While their designation indicates that they work at the cash counter only, they also perform numerous other customer service jobs. Usually a store cashier greets customers, helps them locate items and takes payments in exchange of goods sold.

Store cashiers also provide customers with information on products and reserve items for them. They advise customers on what to buy and also provide them with product descriptions and demonstrations. Additionally, they handle returns and refunds and bag products according to their types or customers’ instructions. They also perform activities given by his / her Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Scan goods and collect payments
• Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets
• Redeem stamps and coupons
• Make sales referrals, cross-sell products and introduce new ones
• Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
• Greet customers when entering or leaving establishments
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
• Keep reports of transactions
• Bag, box or wrap packages
• Pleasantly deal with customers to ensure satisfaction
• While on duty you will be required to wear proper / appropriate dress code in accordance with your work designation. At all times you will be expected to look neat, clean and professional and according to standards of 5* hotel. No long hair, No earrings, tattoo, mustache / beard, long nails and no jewelry or any accessories of any kind
• Provide a high level of customer service in the completion of all job duties
• Read and follow through Operating Manuel Books and also follow Employee Hand Book

Qualifications

• Female applicants only
• Proven working experience in retail cashier or sales
• Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment (e.g. cash register, scanners, money counters etc)
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Customer satisfaction-oriented
• Attention to detail and mathematical skills
• Sales skills
• High school degree
• Honest and responsible.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
