Cashier - Food & Beverage

At Six Flags Qiddiya City, the Cashier - Food & Beverage will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling cash transactions, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records at food and beverage outlets. This role requires maintaining a clean and organized work area, assisting with inventory, and ensuring a smooth flow of service for guests. The Cashier will work closely with food service staff to ensure timely service, support in restocking supplies, and deliver a positive guest experience.

Education

A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Experience

0-1 years of experience in cash handling, customer service, or a food service environment.

Skills
  • Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and willingness to assist guests.
  • Basic knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations quickly and accurately.
  • Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Quickly addresses guest concerns and operational issues, ensuring minimal disruption during service.
  • Languages: Fluent in Arabic & English.
Job Responsibilities
  1. Process cash, credit, and mobile payments accurately and efficiently, ensuring that guests receive the correct change and receipts.
  2. Greet guests with a friendly attitude, providing information about menu items, prices, and special promotions.
  3. Handle cash registers and POS systems, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and balances are maintained at the end of each shift.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized cash register area, ensuring that countertops, registers, and other service areas meet cleanliness standards.
  5. Assist with restocking supplies such as napkins, straws, and other service items, ensuring that the food service area is prepared for peak periods.
  6. Provide support to food service staff during busy periods, helping to expedite orders and ensure timely service.
  7. Address guest inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional manner, escalating any issues to the manager when necessary.
  8. Assist with end-of-day cash reconciliations, preparing reports on transactions and balancing the cash drawer accurately.
  9. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cash register supplies, such as receipts and bags, notifying management of any shortages.
  10. Follow safety and hygiene protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations and maintaining a safe work environment.
  11. Support promotional activities, such as offering discounts or upselling items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
