Cashier Host/Hostess>

Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a strong work ethic, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Greet customers promptly upon entering the restaurant.
• Take orders from customers.
• Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant's environment and appearance.
• Be aware of special promotions and respond accordingly.
• Be an ambassador for the restaurant by maintaining positive relationships with co-workers, customers, and business partners.

Duties:

- Greet guests upon arrival and manage reservations and walk-ins efficiently.
- Utilize Aloha POS to manage seating and table assignments.
- Maintain a clean and organized front of house area, including the lobby, dining room, and restrooms.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Manage guest relations and ensure that all guests feel welcome and valued.
- Assist servers with serving food and drinks, and provide support as needed.
- Maintain knowledge of the restaurant's menu and offerings to make informed recommendations to guests.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to providing a positive dining experience and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the rest of the team to maintain a high level of service and efficiency.

Experience:

- Previous setting is required.
- Strong customer service skills and a focus on hospitality are essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask when needed.
- Experience with Aloha POS is an asset.

Skills:

- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Strong food service skills and knowledge of restaurant operations.
- Proficiency with Aloha POS.
- Experience in a hotel or restaurant setting.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong guest relations and guest services skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide support to other staff members.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
