Job Title: Cashier – Ice Cream / Gelato Shop

Job Purpose:

To manage cash transactions, provide excellent customer service, and support daily operations in the gelato shop, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments accurately.
• Issue receipts and maintain proper cash register records.
• Greet customers warmly and assist with order taking.
• Coordinate with service staff for timely delivery of ice creams, desserts, and beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier counter and service area.
• Balance cash drawers and reconcile transactions at the end of shifts.
• Answer customer inquiries regarding products, flavors, and promotions.
• Assist with packaging takeaway orders.
• Follow company policies, hygiene, and food safety standards.
• Support the team during peak hours when required.

Requirements:

• Previous cashier or retail experience preferred (F&B experience is a plus).
• Basic math and computer/POS skills.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude, trustworthy, and team-oriented.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
