Cashier (Jewellery Experience)

Become a cashier for our esteemed luxury goods and jewelry company, where you will be essential to the smooth integration of finance administration and customer care. As a vital member of our team, you will oversee a variety of accounting duties that support our operations in addition to managing cash and transactions. Your proficiency in both accounting and cashiering will guarantee that our financial records are correct and current while also providing our discriminating customers with a great shopping experience. You will collaborate closely with our sales team to effectively handle transactions, deliver first-rate customer service, and handle a variety of administrative duties pertaining to accounts payable and receivable.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the cash register
• Handle cash, credit, and check transactions while maintaining a balanced cash drawer
• Assist in managing accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions
• Prepare and process invoices and receipts for payments and refunds
• Generate daily sales reports and assist in financial reconciliations
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues
• Maintain an organized and clean checkout area, ensuring a pleasant shopping environment

Requirements

• Proven experience as a cashier or in an accounting role, preferably in luxury retail
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial transactions
• Excellent cash handling skills and attention to detail
• Exceptional customer service skills and a friendly demeanor
• Proficient in using point of sale (POS) systems and accounting software
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
