Cashier Retail

We are seeking a Retail Cashier for our newly opened branch at Shaheen DHA Phase 8 Karachi. to manage daily financial transactions and ensure accurate cash handling in a fast-paced retail environmentThe ideal candidate should be capable of handling large cash amounts efficiently while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and excellent customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle cash, card, and digital payment transactions accurately and efficiently
• Manage large cash amounts while ensuring proper reconciliation and security procedures
• Operate POS systems and generate customer invoices and receipts
• Maintain accurate records of daily sales, refunds, exchanges, and cash flow
• Perform daily cash balancing and prepare end-of-shift reconciliation reports
• Ensure compliance with company cash handling and financial policies
• Assist customers professionally with billing inquiries and payment concerns
• Coordinate with accounts and store operations teams for transaction verification
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of cashier counter and payment area
• Identify and report discrepancies, suspicious transactions, or operational issues promptly
• Support store operations during peak hours when required

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum qualification: Intermediate/A bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field will be preferred
• 2–3 years of relevant cashiering experience in retail environment
• Experience handling high-volume cash transactions will be highly preferred

Skills & Competencies

• Strong numerical and cash handling skills
• Familiarity with POS systems and retail billing software

• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure

• Basic understanding of financial and accounting procedures

Pay: Rs45,000.00 - Rs55,000.00 per month
