What You ll Do

* Process all customer payments including cash, card, and approved credit transactions
* Issue accurate receipts and bills and reconcile them with sales at end of day
* Prepare and submit daily cash summaries to the accountant
* Ensure secure custody of all cash, cheques, and payment documents
* Deposit cash and cheques at the bank daily as per company procedures
* Handle customer calls and inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
* Manage petty cash usage and maintain clear records for periodic approval
* Keep track of daily customer traffic and assist in compiling visitor reports
* Maintain a clean, organized cashier area and follow company cash handling policies

Ideal Profile

* High school qualification required
* 2 to 3 years of cashier or retail experience preferred
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Trustworthy and detail-oriented with high personal integrity
* Proficient in basic computer applications and POS systems
* Well-groomed with a pleasant personality
* Strong customer service orientation and organizational skills
