Duties

• Supervise cashier staff, providing training, coaching, and performance feedback to foster a motivated team
• Oversee cash register operations using POS (Point of Sale) systems to ensure smooth transactions
• Ensure accurate cash handling, balancing registers at shift end and resolving discrepancies promptly
• Assist customers with product questions
• Enforce phone etiquette and customer service protocols to create welcoming shopping experiences
• Support retail sales initiatives by promoting store promotions and assisting with inventory management

Experience

• Proven supervising experience in a retail or grocery store environment
• Strong familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Excellent communication skills for team leadership and customer interactions
• Experience in upselling, merchandising, stocking, and retail math calculations
• Knowledge of grocery store operations and retail sales strategies is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to manage cash registers accurately while maintaining high customer service standards
