Cashier Trainer and Employee Relation Officer

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and people-oriented professional to join our team as a Cashier Trainer & Employee Relations Officer. This dual-role position is responsible for training cashier staff, improving customer service standards, and supporting positive employee relations within the organization.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train teams while maintaining a productive and positive workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Train and mentor cashier staff on POS systems, cash handling, and customer service procedures
  • Monitor cashier performance and provide coaching and development support
  • Ensure accuracy in billing, transactions, and operational compliance
  • Handle employee concerns and support conflict resolution processes
  • Promote employee engagement and maintain positive workplace relationships
  • Assist with onboarding and training programs for new employees
  • Support implementation of company policies and HR procedures
  • Maintain training records and employee documentation confidentially
  • Collaborate with management to improve team performance and employee satisfaction

Requirements

  • Previous experience in cashier operations, training, retail supervision, or employee relations preferred
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of POS systems and customer service standards
  • Ability to manage employee concerns professionally and confidentially
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in HR, Business Administration, or Retail Management is an advantage
