Cashier/Barista

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Cashier/Barista who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and delivering great customer service. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing beverages, handling transactions, and creating a positive, efficient experience for every guest.
This position is for an upcoming new location opening in June. All team members will begin by training and working at our Hollywood location to learn our systems, service style, and standards before transitioning to the new store.

Duties

• Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, coffee, teas, and specialty beverages
• Maintain consistency in drink quality and presentation
• Operate coffee equipment and ensure proper daily setup and maintenance
• Accurately handle POS transactions and cash/credit payments
• Keep the barista station clean, organized, and fully stocked
• Restock ingredients and supplies throughout the shift
• Communicate and work closely with kitchen and team members
• Promote menu items and assist guests with selections when needed
• Follow all cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards

Requirements

• Previous barista or cashier experience is required (2+ year in a café or bakery environment)
• Strong customer service skills and friendly attitude
• Ability to multitask and stay efficient during busy hours
• Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset
• Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and equipment is a plus
• Fluent English required; additional languages are a plus
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule (including weekends and holidays)
• Be legally authorized to work in the USA

Benefits

- Wage range: $16–$18 per hour

- Tips provided — averaging an additional ~$2.50 per hour, meaning the typical total hourly compensation is approximately $18.50–$20.50
