Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu plans.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
- Assist in menu planning, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling practices.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives and other cooking tools.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
- Participate in catering events as required, ensuring high-quality food presentation.

Skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Experience in the food service industry, preferably in a cooking or culinary role.
- Proficient in food handling techniques, including knife skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
- Creativity in menu planning and adapting recipes for various dietary needs.
- Previous experience as a dietary aide or in catering is a plus but not required.
