Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their inquiries, ensuring a positive shopping experience
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling, credit card transactions, and returns
• Manage stock levels by merchandising products, stocking shelves, and organizing displays to attract customer attention
• Briefly explain the menu and give samples
• Upsell related products or promotions to enhance sales and meet store goals
• Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries
• Support your team members through effective communication, product knowledge sharing, and customer engagement

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems and basic retail math for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
• Previous supervising experience is a plus for leadership opportunities in the store environment
• Ability to perform product demos confidently and educate customers about merchandise features
• Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve a diverse customer base effectively
• Strong communication skills to interact clearly and professionally with customers and team members
• Experience in grocery stores or retail environments is preferred for familiarity with store operations
• Knowledge of merchandising, stocking techniques, and retail sales strategies
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to resolve issues promptly and courteously
• Must like serving food or being around food and music
