In this role, you will be the friendly face at the counter the moment a customer walks in the store, ensuring smooth transactions while providing exceptional service that keeps customers coming back. Whether assisting with product information or managing the cash register, your contributions will be vital to our store’s success.

Duties

• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges with accuracy and speed
• Handle cash, credit, and digital payments responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with the menu
• Maintain restaurant's standards by stocking inventory, organizing, and keeping lobby clean
• Use strong communication skills to engage bilingual customers effectively and ensure their needs are met

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service and/or cashiering is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a customer-first mindset are essential
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
• Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening abilities
• Ability to perform retail math calculations confidently for cash handling and sales totals
• Not required, bilingual skills are highly valued to serve a diverse customer base effectively

Pay: From $9.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 35.0 per week
