Responsibilities

• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly.
• Greet customers warmly, providing excellent customer service through clear communication and friendly phone etiquette.
• Assist customers with product questions, provide product demos when appropriate, and suggest additional items through upselling techniques.
• Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure products are attractive and accessible.
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with precision.
• Support inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and assisting with inventory replenishment.
• Promote a positive shopping experience by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction.

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Previous supervising or leadership experience in retail or grocery store environments is a plus.
• Ability to conduct product demos confidently to engage customers.
• Bilingual skills to communicate effectively with diverse customer bases are highly valued.
• Strong phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally over the phone.
• Skilled in upselling products to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer trust.
• Knowledge of merchandising, stocking techniques, and retail math for accurate inventory management.
• Excellent communication skills coupled with friendly customer service approach.
