Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met consistently
• Operate cash register systems accurately, handling transactions efficiently and courteously
• Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about ingredients, and provide excellent service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
• Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols
• Support menu planning efforts by suggesting daily specials or modifications based on available ingredients
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours and special catering events

Requirements

• Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service environments such as restaurants or catering is highly desirable
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
• Experience working in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, team-oriented attitude
• Familiarity with menu planning, fine dining standards, or the food industry is advantageous
