We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support in a fast-paced retail environment. Your responsibilities will include managing transactions, assisting customers with their needs, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Duties

• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
• Assist in merchandising efforts by maintaining attractive product displays and ensuring shelves are stocked.
• Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer engagement and drive sales.
• Utilize effective upselling techniques to promote additional products and services.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and store environment.
• Handle cash transactions with accuracy while adhering to cash handling procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve overall store performance.
• Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when addressing customer calls or inquiries.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Supervising experience is a plus, as well as the ability to lead by example in a team setting.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse customer base.
• Knowledge of retail math concepts is beneficial for inventory management and sales analysis.
• Ability to perform stocking duties efficiently while ensuring product availability on the sales floor.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
