Responsibilities

• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and addressing concerns with professionalism.
• Conduct product descriptions to educate customers about the product encouraging upselling opportunities.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring merchandise is well-stocked and visually appealing through merchandising and stocking tasks along with the dining room.
• Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and basic retail math to balance registers at shift end.
• Demonstrate phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries, ensuring clear communication.
• Support store operations by assisting team members when needed and assisting guests.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering roles is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key.
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills in guiding team members and managing customer interactions effectively.
• Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs better.
• Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and retail math enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
• Strong communication skills are essential for engaging customers confidently and professionally in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
