Cashier/Customer Service

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and friendly Cashier/Customer Service representative to join our retail team. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our store, providing exceptional service while efficiently handling transactions. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure customers leave satisfied and eager to return. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs, including product demos and inquiries
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process transactions, handle cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
• Maintain an organized checkout area, ensuring smooth and efficient cashier operations
• Upsell products and promote store specials to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance
• Restock shelves, merchandise displays, and assist with stocking to keep the store attractive and well-organized
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining professional phone etiquette
• Support merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively and ensuring inventory is accurately tracked
• Cooking for our Krispy Krunchy Chicken restaurant.

Skills

• Proven experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures in a retail or grocery store setting
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in both bilingual environments if applicable
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in guiding team members or assisting during busy periods
• Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately for retail math calculations, including making change and balancing registers
• Knowledge of grocery store operations, retail sales techniques, and upselling strategies
• Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone professionally
• Experience in cooking would be an assest

Pay: $14.00 per hour
