Cashier / Customer Service

D. Coluccio & Sons, Inc. is a family-owned importer, distributor, and retailer of Italian food products. D. Coluccio & Sons is seeking qualified employees to clerk in our store part time.

Responsibilities

• Ring up customers at state-of-the-art POS system
• Take payments by cash, credit, debit, check, and gift card
• Operate scales to weigh and price products
• Label items with prices
• Notify supervisors of inventory shortages and upcoming expiration dates
• Assist customers and answer questions
• Familiarize self with products, store layout, and storage locations

Requirements

• Basic math and arithmetic, especially pertaining to retail/finance
• Attention to detail, thoroughness
• Positive attitude and high-level customer service skills
• Availability to work consistent schedule
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to speak and comprehend English (proficiency in Spanish and/or Italian a plus)

Experience preferred. Competitive candidates will have a retail, food service, and/or customer service background.
