Cashier/Customer Service/Sales Associate

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Cashier/Customer Service/Sales Associate to join our retail team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, operating POS systems, and assisting customers with their shopping experience. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, retail sales experience, and a passion for helping customers find the products they need. Bilingual abilities and previous supervisory experience are a plus. Responsibilities

• Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and transactions
• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service
• Assist customers with product inquiries, product demos, and upselling opportunities
• Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves and organizing displays
• Conduct product demos to promote new or featured items
• Manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment
• Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and welcoming
• Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and efficiently
• Promote store promotions and loyalty programs to enhance sales
• Support team members in maintaining a smooth store operation

Requirements

• Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and phone etiquette
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining excellent customer service
• Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs
• Supervising experience is a plus but not required
• Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and product demonstrations preferred
• Friendly, approachable attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
