Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections and order placement.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, teas, and light food items while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling procedures with precision and integrity.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and smooth operations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food prep stations, counters, and dining spaces, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness.

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is highly preferred.
• Experience with POS systems such as toast .
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours.
