Cashier/Sales Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier/Sales Associate to join our retail team. Previous experience with POS systems and retail sales is preferred, along with strong communication skills and a professional attitude. At times, you will also work the sales floor, putting up stock, overstocking, mixing paint, cutting keys & filling propane.

Responsibilities

• Operate POS systems
• Provide Friendly, Attentive, & Helpful service
• Keep register workstation clean
• Direct Customers to the right aisle or to a more knowledgeable associate
• Stock/ Overstock Shelves
• Mix paint
• Cut Keys
• Fill Propane

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments preferred
• Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Strong communication skills
• Basic math skills for cashiering and retail math calculations
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
• Must be able to work weekends as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
