Cashier/Sales Associate

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Retail Sales Clerk to join our team. Your responsibilities will include greeting customers, managing the cash register, helping customers find products and light organizational and stock work. Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly manner and help them find products
• Operate our Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately and efficiently, including lottery sales
• Handle cash transactions with precision, ensuring accurate cash handling practices
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and store shelves
• Light stocking of retail space and coolers
• Help taking inventory, including lottery tickets
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a healthy work environment

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales is preferred
• Must be 21 years of age
• Have or be able to obtain a liquor permit for the State of Indiana
• Good customer service skills
• Basic math skills to accurately handle cash transactions
• Bilingual abilities are highly valued

Other Requirements

• Must be able to walk and/or stand for extended periods of time (6-8 hours per shift)
• Must be able to lift and/or more up to 30 lbs.
• Holidays are required. We are open ALL major holidays, including all major RACE days

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
